hmm looks as if this is not a direct fit. My friend had the smae problem on his civic hatch. He had to take hte car to a body shop that dealt with problems like this before. They did something to the fiber glass to bend then make fit. Maybe they heated it or something (not sure)
hey fusion, i remember awhile ago u were having a problem with the fitment of your CF hood. What kind of hood did u get? ?If its a VIS and u still havent fixed it, ill tell u what to do. i had the same problem. sorry for off topic

if there is no way you can get it to fix, then:
a) get a real mugen front.
b) go to a body shop and pay them $$$ to make it fit.
to me, the real deal is the only way to go. I have a worthless kit in my garage right now.

you seem to have alot of problems getting body pieces to fit, eh? Get a friend to come over and help you. Those kind of jobs are always better with two people. BTW, did that bumper come painted that wrxish yellow?
Is it Fiberglass? I can't tell from the pics. If so, sometimes you have to trim them to make'm fit.
Also, I would imagine you'd have to put the side together first, then the front supports.

why would you waste $$$ on a copy which doesnt even do what its supposed to? provide a under carriage for wind tunnel.
That makes absolutely no sense at all. Try wording your sentences correctly before talking trash on people. He got it because it looks good to him, he obviously could'nt justify spending the money on the real piece just so he could improve his aerodynamics and reduce lift at speed.
Sory dude,..but I had the same EXACTthing you got and it fit pretty damn good,...just ta show ya

imo the bumper doesnt look very appealing to begin with, though the original fiberglass underpan did serve a neat purpose, which this one seems not to..
btw, sorry if i hit a nerve with you and your bf.

not trying to talk trash, just asking him why.

sorry if I seem like a dick, but my R motor is legit.
I have the same extact bumper, just put the sides on first (fender bolts), then either put the top on or the bottm. there are two holes in the middle of the bumper for you to bolt it in the raidator support.
what is the real mugen bumper supposed to do? i mean ive seen the fiberglass copy and it has a flat long portion on the bottom of the bumper, maybe this is for the wind tunnel effect thing? i dunno.
