B&M FPR on golden eagle fuel rail w/ Edlebrock manifold??

Just wondering how you guys used a stock style fpr on a golden eagle fuel rail and a edlebrock intake manifold. Mine wont come close to fitting. Is it possible to bend the metal return?

flip it upside down is what edelbrock calls for
