This may help you out:

At first glance, I'd say no.... but I'd still suggest a call to Honda and query them directly. Refer:

thx for the info.. youve been a great help

btw.. back a year ago.. i had my fast idle valve replaced

questioned whether it was under warranty under my honda plus package

they replied it wasnt.. i paid dearly for it

my plus expires on dec 2010

i looked at the warranty table, IT IS UNDER WARRANTY!!

now that is not impressive

is there something i can do about it?

Do you have any records or receipts for the part replaced that should have been under warranty? Even if you don't If you got this work done at the dealership they "should" have a record of it. I would take in a copy of your warranty and show them that you were charged for an item that you shouldn't have been. I'm not sure if they will do anythign or not...but it's worth a try.

guys,

i just spoke with Honda, she claims it is a warranty part and that they should not have charged me ..i do have my invioce as well as my warranty paperwork.. she asked me to personally fax her all the info .. now in another thread i was told i needed a heater core.. also a warranty part.. but my warranty has expired by 1000k.. however , i can go there with the fact that im unimpressed about the fact i was charged on a warranty fast idle valve and counter that with suggesting they honour my warranty for the heater core

the plus warranty expires on feb 09 or 120k

i have 121k on mine..

if i push i should be able to get my way

wish me luck

You will loose nothing by asking.
I would suggest that you direct your request to Honda Corporate as opposed to the Dealership.
You've already made contact with a sympathetic ear at Honda with your Fast Idle Valve issue, so call him / her back and plead your case.
