This same type of topic has been covered countless times. If you had searched youd know this.
Again, because we're already beating a dead horse, it will NOT fit.

 

Yes they do fit, the 96-00 Civics have the same bumper cover. If you look at both, 96-98 and 99-00, you'll see that on both the bottom of the bumper cover curves back towards the rear of the car about half an inch.

well it will fit a eg but a lil bit big,,i have seen it done b4 on a bubble,,as for a 96 model its will not fit its 2 short on a 96-98 civic,,believe me i tried my si lip on a 97 civic and it was 2 short unless you heat it up and stretch it..

 

I test fit my brother's 96-98 genuine Honda CTR lip on my EM1 today and it fit decently...

 

It will bolt up. Im sure SOME of the bolts match. I guess its a matter of whether you can accept something not fitting correctly or not.

 

'96-'00 front bumpers are not the same. Nor are the rear bumpers (except hatches).

I'd have to agree with pdiggity. Do you want it to fit or do you want it to "fit"?

You might as well get a "Type R Style" front lip though, before you damage a discontinued '99-'00 optional lip (yes, they came optional on all models, standard on Si and Type R).
