Default p28 computer

Will a p28 run in my 95 Ls non-vtec? Which would be better stick w/ the stock or go with the p28?

whats the point of switching to a p28 on your LS? A sohc vtec ecu will not run properly on your car....the only time running a p28 on your car is if you have vtec and the p28 is chipped and tuned. Stick with your stock ecu unless your motor is built

It's not gonna run right on ur car, unless the p28 is chipped for a Ls with basic spec for ur car, other den that if ur car is obd2 u still need a conversion harrness

"but i do like my chipped p28, im running it on my b20v and tell you what it's great just get it tune"

Why would you put a P28 in a car running a B18B1? If it ran rich it would actualy have less power, and you would have a cel for vtec solenoid and pressure switch. Also its not real smart to run the B18B1 to anything above the factory limited 7000 rpms due to weak rod bolts. Addistionally "chipping" your car will not make a big difference if any difference at all, especially if everything is stock.

Aint no point of getting the computer chipped if your "Completly stock"..When i did get a chip in my ecu my engine was not completly stock... and yes it did make a difference... just full exhaust and skunk2 manifold... a p72 with a chip programed for a B18b..and no check engine light on for the vtec solenoid.. the chip took off some limitations and the engine takes full advantage of the manifold and exhaust ..i personally felt a noticeble difference from chippin the ecu...and no i did not say a p28 on a stock LS will give you power..only reason i put it on my LS was to try it out long time ago as a begginer to this honda stuff..

What are you even talking about? You're running a stock ls to 9200 on a P28 chipped? You have no idea what you are talking about, or you just don't know how to properly explain what you have. There is no way a stock ls would last in that range of rpms, and why would you run a P28 on it? Maybe just explain yourself a little better!
