i'ld say take some of the small stuff u like about it off and sell the rest, those quarters look nasty, wait till u find a cleaner one to settle on and build it from the ground up, more rewarding imo

omgzzzz rusty 1/4's... like no one in the world of honda's has ever had to fix those before... FIX IT PAINT IT CALL IT A DAY.

seriously the cost / chances of finding a clean eg hatch no rust... in CANADA; its gonna be either expensive or impossible.

weld in new corners, fix all your dents/dings and get it resprayed teal... you will love it

keep it. you've wanted her for over a year, right? why get rid of her now? fix the windshield, fix the quarters, and give her a fresh coat of paint. she'll look better than ever and you'll have a nice clean eg hatch to play around with.

If you like it and thats what you wanted for a year then keep it, But she does need a lil bit of work. Nothing a day or 2 in your garage can't fix.

you can make a quick $1200, but when are you ever gonna find a eh hatch with a b16 for $800? on top of that the previous owner is a good friend of yours(i'm assuming). if i were you i'd keep her.

what happened to the car is that my buddy forgot to set the park brake one day at work and it rolled down a hill hitting a hydro box. i really haven't checked out the damage yet. my wife's uncle is a body man so if i don't do it i can get it done from a professional for pretty cheap. here in northern Ontario, most of the eg's are all rotted out and this isnt that bad, but bad enough. so i still have no clue what to do, thx for all the help.

any other opinions more then welcome

i still stand by the fix it keep it thought, seriously here in illinois we get shitty winters that eat the hell out of our cars. there arent many clean eg hatches around, any of the ones that are have been restored.

you got it for dirt cheap, and for the cost of finding one thats not beat up im sure you could have that car fixed and waaaaaaaaay better looking then any one you would find for the price you would of paid for that car and to of had everything fixed. :-)

Sell, you don't "really" need it and you're set as far as cars go. Seems like a nice opportunity to pick up some extra cash, IMO.

wow thats a hard one... i said keep it only because you got 800 wraped up in a good platform. thats the perfect boost car you've got nothing in it so "if" it runs you could have a turbo car for almost what people would spend on the kit alone.

but thats only if you care about that kind of stuff a b16 is a still just a b16 and if you werent thinking about building it i would sell and sell quick.. 2 grand is a lot and christmas is almost here. that rust is gonna cost you some money to fix eighter way you look at it

I say sell it for 2800. If he wants it that bad he will pay it. If not then keep it and fix it up.

I don't think it would too hard to some bodywork on it. Everything else functions properly, right? If not, then sell it.

If the car is clean as in no rust then yes keep it but the car is like a moving rust bucket. Your better off making some money and getting yourself something better later.
