hey guys i am trying to install my earls stainless steel brake lines and have some confusion as to hopw the fronts are install on my 1999 si. anybody have a picture of how it is properly supposed to be installed? thanks alot for the help in advance

 

I don't have a picture, but assuming you have the correct parts, they are installed exactly like factory. Use new screws (if they come with the kit) and place the washers on both sides of the banjo fitting on the caliper.

 

well they are much different than the stocks thats why i ask, they have a spring on them and i am not exactly sure how the spring should be positioned. if thye were like stock they wud be on already because i know how they go.also i wud like to know if you need to use the oem retaining clip with the new lines?

 

1) Yes re-use the OEM clip
2) The spring goes on the hardline side (NOT the caliper side).

 

well i know that but does it go under or over the clip?

 

can anybody get me a pic of the fronts installed?
