What are the differences in:

arm rests?
audio consoles?
door panels w/ tweeters?

I know there are differences in the clocks, gauge cluster, seats, climate controls, defroster switch, steering wheel, gathers rear speakers, the whole rear interior, the pocket in the dash etc.

But i would like to know the differences in the audio consoles and the arm rests and the door panels w/ the tweeters... is there a difference at all?

Well for my Sedan I have a JDM armrest and it has cloth covering instead of the plastic vinyl stuff. Plus it has a cup holder inside the armrest.

 

usually the USDM ones have english part #'s and the JDM ones are written in japanese

i haven't heard of any major differences but assuming the driver is on the right side of the car,i'm sure there are somethings different we wouldn't normally think of

If I am wrong, you guys dont get USDM eg hatches with the hardback rear seats that form a flat platform when folded down, with the raised pullout compartment right?

EG9's came with dope front and rear seats that only seat 2 with a plastic armrest down the middle in the rear as well...

 

Again... what are the differences please.

 

for the Audio console the only differance is where the liter is. It's always furthest from the driver.
I dont think there is a differance in the arm rests except you can get the JDM ones that are long enough to fit a cd changer. My usdm one is cloth with a cup holder inside.

audio console... same but cig. lighter is in reverse position

arm rest... same but JDM has a longer one, some have cloth and some have vinyl

anything else? any interior parts that are diff. from US and Jap that i didn't mention above in the first post?

 

Another difference is the front maplight from the EG6. (I'm pretty sure this is not on the lower EG models).

Do USDM EG hatchbacks have the pop-up cupholders? (where the centre console would be if you don't have one)

 

Whats the front map light? Yes, the EH's have the pop-up cupholders, instead of the audio console.

 

The maplight rests between the two sun visors on the ceiling of the car's interior. It's quite handy really..
