ok so apparently my oil pan is jacked from me not knowing how to drive a lowered car for the first little while after i bought my car, it's leaking oil and making my car smell wonderful and look like it's going to break down when alot of oil burns off the exhaust at a stop light, question is how much can i find a oil pan and how hard would it be to take off and replace myself?
check you autoparts store. Dude its easy the hardest part is scraping off the old gasket and thats easy if you have the rite tools. SInce im such a nice guy ill tell you how to do it step by step
1 drain oil (easy if the car completely cooled down)
2 replace plug
3 loosen and remove all the oil pan bolts
4 pull that bitc* off (mite be kinda hard but its not getting reused so a big hammer helps)
5 scrape that old gasket off. They make a scotch pad on a air wheel works awsome if not a mplastic scraper (they dont cut into the surface like a razor) kitchen scotch pad and gasket reomover.
6 apply new gasket i always like to use a like rv gasket maker itll hold the gasket in place and insure a proper seal dont use to much thin layer.
bolt that thing back on but make sure you torque it properly and in the rite order
tadanow go take a shower cause believe me your now covered in oil grease and dirt. Wear saftely glasses oil really hurts when it falls in your eye trust me.
autozone oil pan the expensive one i 135.00 and 16.00 for a gasket cheaper oil pan is 80.00
