Default exhaust hangers

Ive got a 3" ss thermal exhaust on my setup and i seem to be stretching out the rubber hangers all the time. This leads to the exhuast falling off and dragging. It seems once a year i need to go to honda and get new ones. Does anyone know of upgraded hangers?

thats weird... never had that problem before. You could try to take some steel wire and wrap it around the hanger on the car and the hanger on the exhaust for some extra support to keep some of the tension off the hangers. Kinda a ghetto fix but hey its under the car

Hotrod places sell poly hangers too. I use them on all my exhaust builds.

The problem is poly is usually rediculously expensive vs other options. The VW guys have ones with small chains in them (expensive as well), and places like autozone have hangers MADE for heavy 4" exhausts on pickups - and are CHEAP.

I'm using the autozone type (think its listed as ford, in exhuast aisle) which has 3 connecting supports, opposed to Honda's 2. It's twice as thick, and the extra support is right in the middle. In my experience, they can hold lots of weight before showing it. With the same exhaust, real Honda hangers stretched 1.5". At $3.89 a piece, they're great.
