how to clean and restore tail lights of civic hatch
can someone please help me.. i am planning to clean and restore my tail light.. what tools do i need in opening the tail light.. and tools that i will use to clean my tail lights/... tnx

Please, ALWAYS when posting a tech question, mention the year of the car. It's not a huge deal this time, but it gets really old guessing.
First off though, I would not recommend opening your taillights. It only risks breaking or damaging them.
That said, you'll probably have to bake them in the oven (directions are all over this site and others). Then peel the lense off the assembly.
They are obviously not made to come apart though.
Don't be surprised if the chrome on the inside flakes off or if you scratch the inside of te lenses (which I understand is pretty easy on headlights).
I would suggest buying used taillights in better condition instead.
