Default 2009 Performance Products

I joined this group so that I could see if there is anyone out there that can help me Hop-up my new 2009 V6 Accord Coupe. I just sold my 1993 Coupe with 95 V-Tech, and a few othe mods. and decided to get the new one. Rims are on order along with ground effects, but I have lilttle luck finding performance parts/products for it. Any help would be great!! Thanks!

It's such a new car, and with a slowing economy and shops closing up, it will be a while.

I remember when the new Si came out and it took FOREVER to get parts. I still don't think there's a standalone tuning system for it- and that's the Si, the 'performance sport compact' of the Honda family.

My guess is the first two things on the market will be intake and exhaust.

Magnaflow has an exhaust for the Accord listed already, that's a start.

I had a feeling that was the case, but I figured with the 2008 having the same setup there would be mods already out. I will just have to wait and see what comes out....Thanks I will look into the magnaflow setup!

I just picked up my '09 coupe 6spd today and I'm wondering the same thing about parts. I'm quite sure we will have to wait. I'm specifically looking for some bigger brakes and I heard a bit about brake fade under repeated stops. Plus I think the current brakes look a bit too toy like.

Keep your eye out on any info on OEM big brake upgrades.

Several members here i know make 'big brake kits' out of OEM parts that work- the new RL may have a better braking system that swaps over.

I would be a little wary about that Megan Racing. i had one cat-back setup for my civic a fews years back. I ended up sending the system back 3 times for exchanges due to fitment issues. Hopefully they straightened things out. Ill give them one thing though, their systems LOOK AWESOME.
