Default FJDistributors.com gasket kit, super kits

Does anybody use their gasket kits on d or b series engines? What about super kits?

It would be nice if these gaskets hold up because oem set is expensive

from what i just looked at they seem to be all quality parts in the kit that included pistons and everything and for only $279 i dont see it being a bad investment lol

All I know that pistons are good, I just hope that those gaskets hold up... OEM gasket kit would run you like $250 so there is a big difference in price.

not only the pistons are good but so are the rings . the acl rod and main bearings are name brand along with the trust washers in the kit . everything from the look of it looks like high quality . its even a muti layer steel head gasket i say get it i dont think you would have any regrets . iam probally going to order the b series kit tommarow as long as they can give me the B20 race pistons they offer instead of the itr pistons. thanks for the link btw man i had never seen that site

i used everything in the fjt super kit (the one with vitaras) except the timing belt. that just seemed a little chincy. i used the water pump, head gasket, valve seals, hastings rings, and acl bearings. great kit.

Never had any problems with any of it, the best "cheap" kit i've seen.

my headgasket from them blew in less than 500 miles. was tuned at 8psi, took a 15psi hit and pop. changed to OEM headgasket, through it on the dyno, and took 3 15+psi hits in a row....found out my wastegate took a ****, reason for the 15psi hit and popped headgasket. OEM ran for a few thousand miles no problem then i sold the car. as far as i know, still runs fine.

my tuner said the timing belt looked e-bayish. talked to the new owner of my car and said the belt pretty much disentigrated.

thats odd since the MLS gaskets . ive done alot of reading on the kits since last night and nothing but good reviews .everyone was saying the gaskets are comparable to felpro gaskets like u get at autozone. which i have ran many felrpo parts with zero issues .even ran there headgasket with studs at 21psi with zero issues

FJT is good stuff. He knows what he's doing. He's the one who pioneered (or at least made popular) vitara pistons in a D-series. Lots of people on d-series.org, and onecamonly.com are running his pistons, gaskets etc with no problems.

I had a slight issue with the gasket he supplied but i do think it was part my fault. I didnt go back and retorque the head studs and i was pushing coolant at 17psi. Oem gasket 85ftlbs on the arps and we have accidently hit 34 psi and no problem. We are currently at 28psi with no issues.

FJT is an awesome seller and the HG he provides may be fine but i would ask him to include an oem gasket and just pay a little extra. Im sure he would have no problem doing so. And buy his Custom Length i beams...they rock!!!

And...Copper spray!!!!!!!do it!
