Default soft brake pedal after legend conversion-- dunno what else to do--- help!

I recently did a Legend type 2 caliper conversion on my 92 Prelude Si. Did this when I did my 5 lug conversion.

Ever since, the brake pedal has a lotta play very soft.

I bleeded the brakes several times, with no luck. Then I had the dealer bleed it while it was in there for a few other things... still soft.

What can I do? What needs to be upgraded, what else can I do to just get rid of this soft pedal??

I will try steel lines but i have been told the difference will be minimal if anything.

If replacing master cylinders or other parts are whats in order to fix this, could you all recommend brands if aftermarket, or tell me where I can get the parts that I would need?

I'd really appreciate the help

that could very well be a possiblity. but at this point, I've done it 2x, I had tire kingdom do it once when I had to get my tires mounted, and then I had the dealer do it.

so after bleeding about 4 times total now, somethings gotta be wrong elsewhere.

did you try adjusting the rod at the pedal??? it's the one that is on the inside of the brake booster, that goes to your brake pedal.

It doesn't sound like he replaced the master...
OP, not to sound condescending, but did you make sure that the calipers are on their correct sides? I'm assuming the dealership would've realized it, but just a thought. Have a buddy pump the pedal up a bunch of times and then have him hold the pedal down. Open the reservoir and release the pedal. If you have a bunch of fluid spurt back up out of the master, you've got air in there. One thing to try. If you've got air try surge bleeding it, or tapping the caliper with a dead blow and then bleeding.

I'm not thinking the lines are the culprit, if they never gave you this headache before the swap.

You can't run a stock 13/16ths master with ITR brakes AND Legend front calipers and have a good pedal...period!

Best bang for the buck is a 91 Civic EX master cylinder, which is 15/16ths. Otherwise, you'll need to go 1" MC and reroute brake lines. The 91 EX MC is direct bolt on.
