Icon2 Towing with the Pilot or MDX

my wife and i are thinking of getting a older (04-06) pilot or mdx. we are leaning towards the pilot, but were not sure yet.

i'm wondering how the Pilot is for towing, i have a 91 hatch that i'd like to tow to the track, the car is around the 2100lbs mark and i'd get a lighter duty trailer dual axle to tow it with.

also wondering how the pilot or mdx are maintenance wise, wear items... just anything to look for when buying a used one.

Both are the same for towing 4,500 lbs and 300? tounge weight. Just remember to have the trans and power steering coolers with the hitch.
