because ITR's are better for a street car. The Pro 1 is a very aggressive cam and the idle and driveability will suffer compared to ITR's. His goals are simple, ITR's will easily do that.

pro 1s are far from s2s1. ITR cams are pretty much s2s1.

im running the pro 1's in my setup. i dont really have any drivability issues but i cant really idle under 850-900 reliably, which i really dont mind because they DO make more power. i think sean at s2 told me they made 80hp more than the itr cams on there integra.

i have R Cams in my motor, should i sell them to make money for my boost project and just put in the b16 cams?
or are the itrs worth it?

I switched from a type r to s2 tuner 2s and had good results and my car drives and idles like stock w/1600s and no injector driver.i made 61whp more when switch from type r cams and e85 to the tuner 2s on q16 on less boost.
but for his horepower goals type r cams are sufficent

definetely run the Pro 1's. Just lean out at IDLE and throw a few degrees timing in at IDLE only and it will be great on the street and spool much sooner. Pro 1's are far from being too much on the street. We've run many Pro2 all motor setups in daily drivers with great results. Just make sure theyre degreed right and pull some fuel away at idle and you'll be doin great!

I'd suggest the ITR cams, as stated, your goals aren't that difficult to achieve with them, and the big plus here, you get OEM reliability. This is very important in a street car. Plus, think of all the money you'll save, you can spend that on gas and beer.
