Default oil leaks??

I seem to have an oil leak coming from the back of the motor, near the oil pressure sending unit or the oil filter. Any ideas on what it could be, or if its a common problem?

I would say clean it up real nice and get all the oil off of it. Then drive it for a few days, and then look again. That should tell you exactly where it's coming from.

Ive had this problem on my 94 accord. the problem for me was the oil pressure sensor. The leak was pretty bad when the oil pressure was up but when its parked of course it leaks very little. But try spraying brake cleaner to that area, start your car, and wait to see.

Yea, I have. It could be a few things though, none of them really major I don't think. Should be an easy fix. Once you find out where it's coming from, you already won half the battle. After you do fix it, be sure to clean that block up real nice though.

What year car? If it's an OBD-1 94-95 Integra GS-R, then there is an oil cooler sandwiched between the oil filter and the block. This has an o-ring between it and the block, and mine was leaking recently. I just replaced it last weekend, actually. I took a pic of it:
