Default Meet up for christmas lights in folsom

I was thinking that we should have a FAMILY-ORIENTED meet on Sunday, December 14th to roll up to Dovewood Court in Orangevale, near Folsom. Food For Families takes donations at this event, so bring a non-perishable canned food item. These are the lights that are on the news every year. The whole street goes all out every year, and a couple of years ago the main homeowner who originated the lights passed away, so they continue doing it every year in tribute to him. I think this would be a cool event to go in and show the community that the import scene is not as bad as everyone thinks it is. We would be supporting a charity, and looking at some great lights also. And, you can either drive through the court or walk the court, and it is beautiful either way.

A link to the map. I used Elk Grove as an example starting point.

What do you guys think?

Ok, I spoke with the administrator of http://www.norcalcivic.org yesterday, and, even though it is short notice, he was thinking of a toy drive right before the lights. So if anybody is interested in one, either, or both, post up. Just think of the kids' faces when they open your gifts on christmas morning!!

I'm down for both, either, whatever. If it's a good cause, it doesn't matter what we do. I'll bring toys and food because giving is what Christmas is all about.
I spoke with some Integra buddies here in Stockton, and they will roll out with me. So SGV plus maybe 2 or 3 more.

Default Great time

Thank you to SGVridgerunner and his friend FIAT ( you know the joke ) for showing up tonight and making the drive up there. It was a wet drive, and scared me at one point ( you know what happened ) but all in all a nice cruise up there. I just wish the conditions would've been better. Thanks again for showing up.

Yeah, we were there early. We were out of there by 7:30. Then we went to the Starbucks down the street and hungout till about 9, then split. Wait, is your Integra white? I may have seen you when we left.

It was a good time all in all, except for the off-course excursion (whoops, was I not supposed to say anything? ). Three DC2s and an EK made for a decent little group to roll with.

We'll have to get the Central Valley heads together for a cruise when the weather clears up.

were you at the stop light by taco bell coming from the woods section with the bike trails and the horse training facility? If so, then we DID see you...........while we were leaving. By Lake Natoma Drive? You may ask how I know about that street? Long story, my friend, long story.......
