Default Possible to remove nicks from windshield??

On my DC this morning driving to work sun glare was crazy. It wouldn't have been that bad except for my windshield has so many of those tiny pits form pebbles hitting the shield over the years from driving. It's horrible looking when you're still in the car. Is there some type of way to buff the windshield with something to remove it, they're not deep just the little tiny ones but enough of them to cause a problem with vision through it.

Tske it to a car windshield place. Usually most chips and stars in the glass can be fixed.

I agree. Give them a call and see what they say.

It's not big chips or even stars. It's really tiny specks in the windsheild from i guess real small pebbles, I'll try and call them now and see what they say

Some insurance companies will pay to have windshield nicks and chips repaired if you have comprehensive coverage. Might want to check that out first before you get it done yourself.

Called them up and they said the only way is to replace the shield. I'll probably end up going that way. They quoted me $196

I was thinking that too. I'm going to be putting comp & coll. on it anyway and my comp deductible is always like $100 or so. Might be the better way to go. Maybe to crack the shield myself, lol
