o2 sensor will mess with gas emissions. try bypassing it..... either way... 230 isn't that bad..... i get 240 on average.

230 is decent. I've never heard more then 280 on a b16. Change out the gas filter and air filter, may not make a huge difference but it should help.

yea that weird i get 320 miles to A full tank of gas with my B16. it can be done it just depends on how you drive it. Since your O2 sensor is not hooked up, that is one reasons why you are only getting 230miles to a tank. go to an exhaust shop get an O2 bung put in and put in you o2 sensor. how bad is your clutch? is it slipping? even if you go OBDI and turn off the O2 sensor you are not going to get better gas mileage without it being tuned. since your car is OBDII you should have two O2 sensors. one before the cat and one after the cat.

I get 430-ish with my B16A2 (HX shell) - if I feel like pushing it - no pun intended.

Generally, I fill it at around 400, give or take, sooo...

It is possible to get good FE with a B16!
