Drilled or slotted rotors?
its a lot more then a weekender but not a daily. its put away during the winter in our hanger. its def not a track car but when the ocassional dumb in a mustang pulls up it gets let loose lol often around my town
Blank OEM style. Get some good pads and slap them on, in the end it's better stopping power believe it or not, and don't have to worry about cracking the rotors if your pushing alot of pressure to your brakes.
If you care about pad life, stick with blanks. If the car sees frequent track use (and not much street), slotted rotors might be worth it if they're well designed/manufactered. I would avoid drilled rotors.

well i was looking at brembo slotted rotors just for the front and then was going to run blanks in the back. im not overly concerned on pad wear because it isnt driven daily.
are you changing your backs to rotors? if they are still drums, leave them. all or most of your stopping power is in the front, and for the front just get some blank oem's and some quality pads and you'll be fine
I would go with some Brimbo blanks with good pads.
Unless you heavily use you're brakes when you drive around town, I don't think you would even be able to tell a difference with slotted rotors, but that's just my opinion.
Blanks! track car or not.
more surface area means more heat disapation, more heat disapation means better breaking.
back in the day... Pads would release lots of gases, thus the slotted drilled rotors to release the gas. currently we use cermaic pads with very little to zero gas release. drilled slottted pin'd dished it does not matter, blanks are best.

I have some blank brembos on my 93 4dr and find them just fine. no problems whatsoever. also here's some info I found searching "brake rotors" on here, there is a lot more threads too.. this is just the first I found relevant to your question.

I have brembo drilled/slotted rotors on my 99 Si and they are junk. They warp so fast its not even funny. As soon as the pads wear out I will put OEM rotors back on. DO NOT get drilled/slotted rotors.
that what i wann no. i have blanks on my si and i get a brake vibe after a few hard stops ,
i dont care about brake pad life but the vibe sucks, sorry to thred jack but im one the same topic

Drilled and or slotted rotors only benefit you by keeping the rotors cooler during periods of long and heavy braking repeatedly. AKA at the track. Normal driving? Blanks. Unless your a girl and ride the brakes or wait till the last minute to brake??
