Default important question

i have a 95 coupe with a b16a fresh swap and the motor runs like a champ, no valve noise. Now with the constant rpm jump when it's cold from 500 rpms- 1500 rpms consistantly seems to be a "cold start valve" now it's that or the fast idle valve. My problem is how do i go about ordering a fast idle valve. Would i normally have to buy a new intake manifold or i can simply just pull one off from a junk yard and can a stock d series work for my b16a?

It comes right off easily. It's attached to the throttle body. You can only order it from Honda, auto parts stores don't have them. I advise against getting one from a junk yard, the insides can deteriorate and leak coolant into your throttle body, which is what probably happened. One from a junk yard will likely be messed up or mess up soon from being old. A new one from Honda is $70. I had this same problem on my del Sol and I ordered a new FITV and the problem went away.
