Default How do you make your headlights look like new?

I remember my boss cleaned out his headlights which looked pretty foggy inside and it became crystal clear right after. He didnt even need to do any sort of headlight removal, he just did it right there on the spot. I tried calling my boss again but apparently his phone is cut off and he moved into a different state. I remember him mentioning something about acetone or something, but I need to know the exact materials and steps to do this.

Anyone?

If they are real bad start with 600, then 800, 1200, 2000, then use a buffer with some fine cut compound, they will look brand new. be careful with the bumper and dont burn thru with the edge of the buffer, it is a good idea to tape off around the lights so you don't hit it with paper and the buffer
