Default EG hatch with Rear Sway bars. What exhuast are you guys using.

I posted this in the Hybrid forum and got little response.

Anyway.... I just installed Integra rear sway bars on my hatch and Now my Greddy PE does not fit. The sway bar is right in the path of the exhuast pipe.
I'm trying not to go custom bend and would like get a bolt-on that would fit. (Need to replace exhaust anyway)

If any of you guys can share a pic of ur EG Hatch WITH a sway bar AND a Bolt on exhaust, it will be very much appreciated. Please indicate Brand and style too.
Thanks.

i dont have a rear sway bar yet but a guy at work has the PE and a ST bar and it was in the way also. i think its the way the exhaust is made.. he had to have it custom made. i think that the PE is the only one that causes this problem. sorry i cant help you out more man.. good luck

I had a GSR swaybar and my HKS exhaust, worked fine.

I also installed a Type-R swaybar upside down and it got into the way.

I couldn't fit my ITR muffler on with the ITR swaybar (Beaks Kit).

I ended up going with a straight pipe (still running the cat, just no muffler). If you find one that fits, please let us know!! I hate running without a muff.

Which HKS exhuast did you go with??
Out of curiousity, how did you install the Type-R upside down. It only goes one way right?

Progress 22mm and Apexi WS, no problems at all.

The World Sport is just about the same as the stock exhaust in tems of dimensions and bends, as you can see in the photo above, plenty of room. If you're going to replace the exhaust anyway, it should solve your problem.

OEM Type-R 22 mm rear sway bar with a mugen, fitment no problem, however, i also had a tanabe r/m with no problems before.

i have a friend who ordered a apexi w/s exhaust this past monday and came in today.

gonna install it tommorrow. he has the same set-up as i have. gonna see the difference between noise decibel on the mugen and world sports.
