Default benefits of using E85 and thoughts about egt gauge

as many of you know im in the process of building a high hp gsr

https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...886&highlight=

I plan on getting the car tuned on 93 meth and a higher octane fuel and meth.

I was wondering a few things about E85

what is the octane rating on it?

what are the benefits of using E85 vs c16?

also I was wondering about an egt gauge. Is that something that is needed on a setup like mine or is it optional? I know what the gauge does but what exactly do you use it for?

what is the octane rating on it? 105 octane and under $2.00 a gallon

what are the benefits of using E85 vs c16? none that I know of, C16 will probably make an extra few hp, but costs probably $10 a gallon

also I was wondering about an egt gauge / not needed, just make sure you have a wideband

Its created using a different manufacturing process and has less gasoline in it which is why it is cheaper..check out the thread I posted it would answer a LOT of your questions.
