i know the auto trannies in honda accords are weak as hell and cant survive beyonde 190 hp or so,,,but is there a way i can make the tranny handle waaaay much more ?

i know manuals are the way to go,,and they are better in performance and stronger as well but come on there has to be a way to increase the strengh of an auto tranny,,,

car : honda accord 1997.....auto
planing to squeeeez more out of it,,,,

im good at forced induction,,,but the tranny isnt,,,,and i dont want to change the tranny
any auto tranny specailist here ?

come on,,,gm transmistions are upgradable,,,almost everything is upgradable,,,
help ?....please ?...lol

 

yeah swap it to a manual... honestly for the price of an auto trans rebuild to with stand the boost your gonna spend way more money then just doing a manual swap...

plus cmon don't compare a honda to a gm... 4 bangers suck with auto transmissions i pretty much believe its pointless.

 

can it BE MAde ? were and how ?
i think gm has more aftermarket support thas all,,,thats why you can upgrade a an auto gm tranny

 

in other words...what are the week parts that needs to be upgraded to withstand the punishment....? hmmmmmmmmmmm....?
