clutch pedal leaking!
i notice my clutch pedal is leaking something. the rubber pads are off so then i notice it because **** was slippery! anybody know what it could lbe and why its happening???
yeah, you should check your clutch resivor you may be low on fluid. It was happeneing to me this summer. You can run all the way out of fluid and it will be not possible to drive your car. If you can see where it's leaking check the Clutch slave cylender, if you can't see anything leaking there it's the clutch master cylender and if it's not leaking there it's your clutch line. The good thing here is that it's all relatively easy to fix and cheap. If you know what a wrench looks like you could probably DIY, may need a partner to blead the clutch when you are done with repairs tho.
99 percent chance its your clutch master cylinder...especailly with the leaking on your pedal symptom. They leak where the rod comes through the firewall...take a lfashlight and look under there and I think you will see what I mean. Good luck!
