Slamming eg hatch question. Is this do-able
Okay guys my buddy has two gc coilovers and two tokico blues and two e gay coilovers with no seats.
Can I put this on my hatch? Like the tokicos and gc's in the front and the egays in the rear. The question is, can I use them with no seats? on stock struts and hardware.
Btw share some slammed eg hatch pics lol.

So can this be done for sure as said by someone else in the previous post?
Another question. Is it hard to put them on. Not really familiar with suspension. I gotta get a spring compressor so I can use my stock hard ware.
Any body got step by step instructions?

dont do this. like nic said, save your $$, time and headache and do it right. Get a legit set up.
And you dont need a credit card to buy suspension, just find a shop that's local and see if they carry anything within your budget.

yea save ur money and dont mix and match shitty suspension products. buy a nice set and the install will be easier anyway. if u only have 200 bux ide save and get a nice set even if it takes a while.
do not put that crap on you car (not being rude I am being real). First off you have to realize that your suspension is what keeps your car in motion, without it you have no car and adding crappy spring made by some crap company in China will not help you at all, it will only endanger your life and others. the broken seat could result in the spring breaking the seat and shooting out, causeing catastrophic disaster to your suspension and your car. if you want a good drop either
1)save up and by a good set of coilovers
2) buy tein s techs they give you a 1.5inch drop and i recommend them with stock struts.

i cut corners when i first got my car and got some cheap springs even on tokico shocks, and i didn't like the ride.. now i saved my money and got full coilovers and it rides WAY better. save your money. it WILL be worth it.
Save your money man. We all can't stress that enough. I'm riding on some neuspeed lowering springs [got them free =P]. They ride decent on stock struts, but my buddy has an Apexi n1 system in his coupe. Oh man, he can go over the bumpiest part of the road and he's just riding on a cloud. The feel is UNBELIEVABLY different. Save your money if you want a smooth cloud-like ride.
Mismatching your springs and shocks could potentially damage other parts of your suspension and should not be done.
This is because your car will travel at different rates when you hit a bump and you could damage certain components.
If all you want to spend is $200, you could get some coilover sleeves, or springs and use your oem shocks.
however, your oem shocks will eventually blow out, because your sleeves/springs are a lot stiffer than your oem springs. this will allow you to drive around with a lowered car, and save some money for some springs.
skunk2 coilover sleeves/springs are good, but they are stiff. they are used mainly in the drag community.
Ground control sleeves/springs are also good, they are mainly used in the autocross community. Ground control + koni or kybagx shocks are the favored combination. you must know which shock you want to use when getting ground controls, they have different seats for each type of shock.
also if you could the best ride quality I have ever had was from a full coilover system. this is because the shock and the spring are matched by the manufacture.
I like Teins, and I believe Bilsteins, and ground controls are good.
I hope this helps.
