which Intake do you prefer? AEM, DIY Airbox, Comptech, Tenzo or another?

I need one for my Del Sol VTec. (still basic )

 

It seems that people usually get either AEM CAI, or the Comptech Icebox.

 

OBX CAI right here! I'm getting INJEN CAI soon.

 

where can i get an AEM CAI cheap?

ICEbox.....

 

I just got an AEM CAI from http://www.importhorizion.com It was 169.99 plus 10 to ship and the bypass valve was 39.99 with free shipping. I had an OBX on my DX and I also liked that one.

i prefer my stock airbox with the K&N drop in

if i ever go DOHC i will get a comptech icebox

 

 

Funds are limited for me, as I am a poor high school student, so I just took a roto zip and cut off the air box about a 1/2" below my k & n, also i took out all the piping and the resonator box behind the bumper. It is very noticeable and makes the engine a lot louder when I get on it. Its the only thing major I've done to it, and I've taken 99-2000 teg GS's, and brand new Cavileirs and Sunfires no prob. But once money allows and I get my B18B I'll get a AEM CAI.

I've tested an AEM and Iceman on two D16Z6 Civics. I have the Iceman because it performed better. It looks good in black too...matches all the hoses and stuff.

 

ive tried the AEM, Iceman and weapons R..and i prefer the K&N filter drop in..then drill the bottom of the airbox..and walla!! ..a home made icebox very cheap too

 

and if i had some comptech stickers..who would even notice or care

 

I have an ARC...stock airbox look doesn't even come close to this beautiful thing. EDIT: the power produced may be similar to other intakes, but the throttle response is instant.
