hello, i am hoping some one will help me out here. i installed a new clutch crx. all of the other componets was good. put it back all together and the clutch will not engage. some of the problems are that when i put it into gear will not move, i can shift into any gear w/or wo clutch and my reverse grinds with and without clutch in. my books tell me it is a clutch or pressure plate. does anyone have anyother trouble shooting solutions before i seperate the tranny from the engine again?

 

have you tried the clutch cable adjustment nut? I had similar problems when I installed my exedy clutch. Turn the nut clockwise to raise the engagment point.

 

yeah tried to get to close to spec as i possibly could for clutch play and still nothin. to i need to get it stupid tight?
