Damn that sucks. Hope he gets it back. You said he had a viper alarm. Did he have a stealth install and any other security features? I hate to hear people put hundreds even thousands of dollars into their car and only put a 3 or 4 hundred dollars alarm in. Doesn't make sense to me.

Bad Idea parking a hatch outside overnight sitting on CPF's. Regardless of how safe you think your area is.

Go snoop around at a couple of the local shops.. mention the reward money there too.
If someone isnt going to sell that stuff here or on CL.. then they may try to slang it at a shop. Someone I knew a long time ago found his car sitting in back of a shop (that closed long ago) where it was being stripped.
