Body kit help
So I'm hoping that some people on here might be able to give me some advice according to their previous experience.. here's my scenario..
I have a 98 Civic DX Coupe that I have a Wings West Aggressor kit on. Well, never let a woman drive your car, mmmk? The day before Thanksgiving my mom borrowed my car, and even though the VERY LAST thing that I told her before I left for Toledo that day was to NOT leave it parked in gear because it'll screw up if you try to use the remote start.. What do you think she did? You bet! Left it in gear, tried to use the remote start, and to her surprise, there was a freaking reason that I told her not to do that! So the car jumped a parking block and knicked a telephone pedestal and tore the bumper off the car, tearing it at the bottom and ripping it where it attached to the fender line.. (Hopefully she didn't screw up my oil pan on the parking block too)
But anyways, now I'm in the market for a new bumper.. I've dealt with the crappy hand laid fiberglass kits to know that they aren't worth the box that they're shipped in and make a better wall hanging than an actual car part, but I was wondering about the "Duraflex" kits made by Extreme Dimensions.. has anyone had any experience with these? Is it a mold process like it is with urethane or do these kits have poor fitment as well? I know that the urethane is the safe way to go, but I was curious as to the reputation that the Duraflex kits have.. If it wont bolt on with the fitment that a urethane bumper would then it's not worth it to me.. but the video that I've seen on youtube made it look like a pretty good product, but we all know about video magic, right?
Anyone had any experience with these kits? Thoughts? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Hate to break it to you bud, but not alot of people on here are gonna help you out. Alot of them see bodykits as "ricer".
Almost everybody on here is going to tell you to go OEM with a lip and some REAL RIMS! No Konig or Rota knockoffs. Which is what most people succomb to. I personally enjoy the OEM look but it is ok to be different and unique. AS LONG AS YOU DO IT RIGHT.
Sorry about your car and I hope everything is alright.
I have heard good things about Extreme Dimensions but not enough to ensure you its a good deal.
Good Luck.

No, OEM is not the way to go. Don't listen to these other fellas. I see you're taking the car the way you want to, which is awesome.
As for a front bumper, I've always liked Black Widows lol. They're the Mugen lips of today's 'standards'.
I also loved C-West kits as well, if you wanna be pricey here's a Rando kit

****, Buddy Club is nice too

man to tell you the truth... OEM with a lip is for a clean look; go with a kit if you want an aggressive look. My opinion: if you got "GO" go with an aggressive look as your car is more aggressive..
GO = more than 210hp
All in all, it really comes down to your taste and individual style... there are many body kits out there that look nice on the pics but may not look the same on your car and paint.... this is something any and all tuner junkies know...
