So I've had my jdm 1st gen prelude for a year now, and I am at a loss for finding any specific information regarding it. I have a few questions:
I see many of the classic owners have production numbers of their cars. I also would like to know this, but my vin is foreign, and yields no information relevant to the usdm vins. Where should I go to get this? example: my vin- SN-2002xxx (x represents a number that I don't really want to post.) secretary of state loved this vin...
Parts manual. I have really had a fun time ordering parts. The JDM model apparently shares more in common with the accord, while the USDM shares more with the civic. I would kill to get a parts manual (even in Japanese) for this car. It would be priceless. As it stands, every part I need, I must measure, inspect and hope the parts guy at the other end of the phone is willing to do the same to assure that I get a part that fits.
I need a friend! Has anyone ever seen another JDM 1st gen in the states (or anywhere else) I have seen one in Australia, but have not been able to find any contact info. Is there a way to search the registrations throughout the us to see how many (if any) of these are registered?
In the year I have put about 15,000km of pure fun. Maybe the whole RHD thing makes it more fun than it really is, but this is a great little car. The looks I get are priceless.
Thanks in advance for any help you may have to offer. I just don't know where to start looking I guess...
I need to post up some new pics, I have found most of the body parts I needed (thx thisoldhonda) but here are my old ones for reference https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...ght=xr+prelude
