From what I hear, B16's like 4-1's better than 4-2-1.

Supposedly a 4-2-1 style is a little better for torque, while a quality designed 4-1 style is better for the high end. But everybody that I know puts on a 4-1 with their JDM B16's...

Hope this helps.

On my RIP Integra... I had a 4-1 DC ceramic and hated it lost too much bottom end. Should've done more research . Plus redline on LS engine was 6k so by the time the 4-1 started to pick up in high end, had to shift.

So its up to you on wether you want to lose torque or not.... or be in high end most of the time.

if its for a 1.6, i would go with the 4-2-1. with this header, there is more back-pressure and this would help out with tourque since the 1.6 litre produces less of it.

I'm about to purchase my 3rd header from DC Sports. They've just worked so well on my D16A and my D16Z. The D16A got a 4-2-1 two piece, the D16Z got a 4-2-1 one piece.

4-2-1 two piece may be easier to install.

You get what you pay for.

If you do a search on headers there was that shootout thing.

DC has been around forever and not too badly priced. My bud had an airmass unit that he enjoyed... As far as the looks between his airmass and my old DC header they seemed to be the same, piping and all.

Depends how much you want to spend....if you want a decently priced header, get the JDM DC 4-1.
