i like the Password:jdm ***** whale intake in carbon fiber..back in the day i was a die hard AEM cold air intake fan but could not stand the headaches with a cold air intake whenever it rained..

get the fujita intake , fujita filter. i have a CAI from fujite and i love the whistle the horn on the filter produces. I also carry an Injen filter cover, put it on filter when it rains.
ill make a video just to convince you if you would like .

yeah the fujita looks like a good intake, and if you could make a video that would be great.
I always just go with an ebay intake, basically because untill you start doing more to your motor (cams, IM, header, exhaust) theres no need for a real fansy intake. I popped an Aspec intake on my bone stock 97 LS and noticed a massive difference in the response for only $40 vs $180-300 for a really good brand name intake.
If you have the means to cut your own pipe just make your own with an AEM filter with 2.5" inlet size.
