dsm injector question?
i have a h22 in my accord and i bought a dsm 450cc kit off ebay and i was wondering if i had to hook up the resistor box it came with or if i can use the one i already have
what are using to tune the 450's with?
You should be able to use the stock resistor box easier than one you bought for a dsm unless someone is cunning enough to have made a 'dsm kit' by junk yard raiding and then raping you.

well i have a walbro 255 pump, aem fuel rail and regulator and plan on running like 7-8 pounds boost on stock block and head. i read that h22 already run low impeadence and so do dsms so i was hoping it might be easier to use the one i got
no offense bud, but i dont imagine you got them new for $100. Its not a bad deal at all for used ones though.
You also didnt mention how you plan on tuning your car. Without a tune, these are useless..

well there not brand spankin new there rebuilt so pretty much new enough for me. im not building no 10 second car here just a reasonable turbo daily car. how do i go about tuning it. i know i can take the whole car but could i just take the ecu and tell em what i got and theyll tune it. what about ecu can i use my p13 or should i try and get ahold a p28. and my dads buddy works at a honda dealership so im gonna have him get my air fuel down right and save some cash
this sounds like a recipe for disaster in the making. Your dads buddy who works at the honda dealership most likely isnt going to be able to aqequately help you or come close. For all reasonable purposes, the p13 ecu is untunable and cannot be used with boost. a basic p28 will not solve your problems either. Next, tuning requires "the car" and a 'guessmap'(pre setup based on guesses.. used for driving to tuner only!) is not safe to run on. Im sure there are several reputable tuners up in the NE area that could really get you setup right. I have a feeling your in way over your head right now and need someone to seriously bail you out before you blow the motor.
How about some specs on what you have now?

well my buddy just gave me a p28 out of his car he wrecked and i have everything together im just waiting on my intercooler from extremepsi.com maybe ill just put it all together make sure it fires up and run it to evans tuning(evans-tuning.com) on a dolly so i dont blow it up i mean it only got 30,000 miles on it i bought it from hmotorsonline.com. or would you recommend a different ecu. you seem to know what your talking about
the p28 will work fine. Your going to have to have it chipped. Use the tuning software your tuner prefers(contact your tuner). I love Hondata for ease of use.
I like the idea your starting to figure things out. Make sure to visit their site and read everything he has listed. From what I remember, theres alot of valuable info in the evans tuning site.
