what are using to tune the 450's with?

You should be able to use the stock resistor box easier than one you bought for a dsm unless someone is cunning enough to have made a 'dsm kit' by junk yard raiding and then raping you.

no offense bud, but i dont imagine you got them new for $100. Its not a bad deal at all for used ones though.

You also didnt mention how you plan on tuning your car. Without a tune, these are useless..

this sounds like a recipe for disaster in the making. Your dads buddy who works at the honda dealership most likely isnt going to be able to aqequately help you or come close. For all reasonable purposes, the p13 ecu is untunable and cannot be used with boost. a basic p28 will not solve your problems either. Next, tuning requires "the car" and a 'guessmap'(pre setup based on guesses.. used for driving to tuner only!) is not safe to run on. Im sure there are several reputable tuners up in the NE area that could really get you setup right. I have a feeling your in way over your head right now and need someone to seriously bail you out before you blow the motor.

How about some specs on what you have now?

the p28 will work fine. Your going to have to have it chipped. Use the tuning software your tuner prefers(contact your tuner). I love Hondata for ease of use.

I like the idea your starting to figure things out. Make sure to visit their site and read everything he has listed. From what I remember, theres alot of valuable info in the evans tuning site.
