Icon2 aem hybrid

Planning on getting the aem hybrid intake, should i get the bypass valve as well. or will i be fine without it here in The Bay, CA???

you live there you should know, just dont go driving through some crazy *** puddles that go up to you headlights.I dont live in the Bay but in sure you'll be fine. my friends old hatch ran piping to the grill on his old eg with a stack I believe and never suck any water in the motor, and we live in the NW, alot of rain.
