right now i am jus looking for a clod air intake and a exhaust system but i dnt want it to sound to loud cuz i dnt like that

I don't have a problem with EBay items per se, but I will not buy anything thru that route unless I've actually seen the item first hand (so I can evaluate it) or I'm familiar with the manufacturer. I do not buy anything from EBay which would disable the vehicle if it broke. (exhausts and intakes are "ok")
There has to be a reason for those prices.

Here in Japan, they do not like to keep stuff on the shelf thru next years inventory, so last years stuff gets sold off pretty cheap. Cheap for Japan, that is, some things are still over priced, but for those items that certain people are watching very closely, they can be bought fairly cheap. I am also talking bulk here. If I was a little smarter and wanted to spend more time doing that kind of thing, I am sure I could make good business from selling the old model items.

I even tried the reverse, when a new gas powered remote control car engine would come out, brand new here in Japan, it was not yet available in the US. I sold several at the best price on EBay but I was able to turn a profit from my price here. Others were doing the same thing but they were a little greedy.

I was in charge of a small part of a car show a few years ago and several makers of auto gauges such as boost gauges along with others were selling the items for $50 US, that was about 75+% off, they were TOP brand names, brand new but last years items. Next summer, I will buy all of them. HKS, iAPEX and other popular names.
