Default crx starting issue + more

I've got 2 crx's I've just finished swapping motors on. First is a 91 HF model that we swapped a B18B1 with B16 cable tranny into. Throws code 16 which is for the injectors; took off the fuel rail after verifying fuel is going to the rail and pump was good and none of the injectors are firing. We put another set from a running car into the rail and still nothing. Wiring is good and resistor box is hooked up. At this point we're clueless and I've been looking for days for help.

On the second issue, it's an 89 Si that we put the D15B7 into. I sold my motor to my friend cause I'm low on cash, so that's why this puney piece of crap is in my car now. Everything is bone stock on this motor from wiring harness to ecu. It's throwing 3 different check engine codes which are 8, 15, and 20. 8 is for TDC, 15 is for Ignition Output Signal, and 20 is for Electric Load Detector. 8 and 15 have to do with the dizzy, but code 20 is a mystery to me. It varies on when the codes are thrown, sometimes just code 8, sometimes 8 and 15 and rarely all three. The motor ran with no check engine code while in his car like it did bone stock. Another issue is that all the dash lights stay on except for the check engine light when the key is in the off position. Any help on both issues would be very much appreciated.

b18b is obd1 you dont use the injector resister --------take the five wires going to it and put them all together

On the si, i'm using the hf harness, so i will swap those out and see what happens. As for the dizzy, I'm using the stock hf which is obd0, so that's good and the pm8 ecu.

On the ls swap, it's all obd1 running with a jumper harness at the ecu and a 4-wire o2 sensor wired into that. You can still use the resistor box on obd1 as I've done this on several swaps in the past. This is the first time i've run into this problem as far as a fuel issue. But, to see if it works, i'll tie all the grounds for the injectors together and see what happens. I'll let you guys know later what happens. Thanks for your support so far!!

Well, both cars are running now. Just swapped the engine harnesses and no problems. Thanks for your help!

if you have a si with complete wiring why did you switch it up?
put all the stock wiring back with the si dizzy and ecu and that will solve all your issues. as great as the si and hf are for mpfi swaps you want to be careful of swaping stuf inbetween si to hf and 88/89---90/91 they are different.

ON THE Si: you neeeed to put your si harness back in, us an si dizzy and and si ecu(pm6), do this and it should theoreticly work.

and i would like to know who the retard is that keeps telling people to mix and match their hf & si ****.......

On The Ls: if you are obd1 you dont need a resistor box for your injectors,

also you should just check for impedience/resistance at the injectors !SEARCH! what the amprege is supposed to be and measure it with an ohm meter....
