i have the parts laying around and was wondering if it would be worth putting the h23 head on the f22 block and would there be any noticeable power gain?....my current motor has a lot of miles so looking to swap it out with something....

 

Sorry friend, you are going to need to do some searching in the search section and also go through the STICKY section and check out the FAQs that deal with swaps, look at the top area of the forum. You might get lucky if someone has done this exact swap, head only. Go to the parts store and ask to see both head gaskets and compare them. There are other issues like compression ratio and deck height between the two engines.

 

yes, it bolts right up. Worth is another question altogether. Now go read these.
