im thinking about buying yellow headlight spray and painting the high beam bulbs in my 96 integra and my wifes 04 em2. has anybody done this? the fog is really really bad here this time of the year and i hear that yellow light illuminates better in the fog. any input is good. thanx

 

Paint the actual bulb? Once the light comes on, it will cause the paint to burn, smoke, and blow out the bulb.

It'll be awesome for about 45 seconds, do it!

 

just do what i did and buy 9005 yellow glass bulbs from ebay

 

you're much better off buying a new bulb than attempting to paint it, ever thought about buying real foglights?

 

High beams are not meant for fog. Get some fog lights and mount em low for the best result

same thing i posted in your other thread on the same topic... dont use high beams as fog lights.

 

im going to get her the foglights for her car and mine but thats going to be in like a month since im hella busy right now. i seriously cant spare the few hours to install them

i also ment to delete the high beam part as well. i see some cars(mainly delivery pickups) here with yellow low beams. i heard ppl mention that they have painted theyr bulbs but i gueass it was all bs

 

WOW I watched someone do that and the bulb lasted about 3 min and melted the housing it was the funniest thing ever
