Intake Air Temperature
finally got my crx started up today and
im geting a code for it

i need to know where to wire the iat wires to?? where on the ecu?
run wire straight to the ecu? or tape into other sensor if so which sensor?

91 crx hf with 99 d16y8 and p28

 

IAT wires and plug are already in your engine harness. Your stock engine had it so no need to run new wires. If I remember correctly the sensor on the y8 is on the intake pipe rather than the manifold as it originally was. But still, it will work the same.

 

Yep. It's on the #1 cylinder runner on an a6 intake manifold (white sensor with 2 screws holding it in). You'll have to relocate it to the intake tract and extend the wires for the plug for a y8.

cool..well the problem i got the dude i got the crx from had already did most ot the wiring and i cant seem to find iat on the hf harness
