Choke end of a wooden baseball bat works too ( stronger as well ). Just make sure you roll slow.

so the two answers you are getting from this thread are:

1. dont lower your car or get smaller rims.
2. if you do lower your car, roll your fenders.

a question directed at the OP is do you have a 1st gen or 2nd gen fit and what wheels(diameter, width, offset), tire size and suspension (how low?) are you running? that kind of information would help the rest of us help you. if you ask vague questions you get vague answers.

Its very simple, what tires and rims are you running, offsets as well.

This will help determin what your doing right and or wrong. You can slam a fit with ease and not have to roll anything with proper size tire and wheel offset.

I'm not hating on your car yo but man you must scrap on everything and anything. Not a fan of slammed cars and certainly not a fan of the slow me down spoiler.

Back to the subject, for the Fit you need to get the right offset.
16" wheels it calls for an offset of +43mm. Now if you lower your car no more then 2" then you should be on the save side. Then again if you go with some 205-215 wide tires you will rub on a u-turn.

anything lower than 2" you would have to have rims, having offset +45, tires not having wide lip surfaces (tires like DUNLOP lemans, Kenda, ) are tires that dont have rubing issues. sizes must be 205 40r17, dont get rubbing issues with my fit
