speed bleeders!
i see them @ T A S auto parts, i'll be bleeding my brakes (was gonna let the shop deal with it) then i saw them @ T A S, is it worth the buy for 15.95 a pair?
if you are doing the bleeding by yourself then they are useful, but if have helper then obviously they aren't needed. But I have heard of plenty of people using a piece of wood or likewise to wedge between the brake pedal and seat to hold it down after pumping the brakes so they can get out of the car and open/close the bleeder.
the speed bleeders are faster as well since you dont have to open and close the bleeders a bunch of times.
I have Earl's brand solo bleeders on one of my cars and they work good. I bought them when I had the brake system apart replacing rusted lines and wanted to simplify things and make it so I didn't have to ask my girl to pump the brakes when I needed to bleed the system.
I wouldn't say it's anything that would be the deciding factor in having a shop do the bleeding or not for me though.
