i have a 92 CX.. bone stock. when i'm at a stop, and i rev.. it stutters and bogs up to 3k rpm. when i drive.. if i give it more than partial throttle, it just bogs and stutters.. doesn't go anywhere, and feels like it's about to stall. when it reaches about 3k, it drives somewhat fine if i feather the gas pedal. what could be the problem?

have you checked the ignition system plugs,wires,rotor,cap and coil?

 

could it be the cat going bad?

 

Maybe ur timming?

 

this is a common problem, with tons of possibilities.

cap rotor plugs are the first start, fuel filter, next, beyond that might be your distributor etc.
