Dyno Sheet inside, 357whp @ 19psi, F22 SOHC. Room for more?

i finally had the car dyno tuned, it made 357whp at 19psi, 94 pump gas. I had issues with hondata boost controller, i would like to see 400whp. The dyno used was dyno dynamics, which i have been reading is really good and acurate? The tuner that tuned my car is considered really conservative by everyone around my town. I understand he doesnt want to have any blown motors on his hands, but im pretty sure my setup should be good for 400whp, probably 23psi. He says he doesnt want to go past 19psi without meth injection....here is a quick rundown of my setup;
- F22A6 SOHC, 91 accord
- Stock sleeves bored 85.5mm
- Wiseco 8.5:1 pistons, Eagle H beam rods
- built head (springs, retainers, oversized valves)
- ARP main and head studs
- ACL rod and main bearings
- OBX Ramhorn manifold
- 38mm tial with 10psi spring
- Delta 260 cam
- T3/T61 T04S COVER, STG 3 65MM WHEEL, .63 A/R
- F22A6 SOHC, 91 accord

I could put an H22 head on there, DOHC, Vtec, would be a better head. But i bought this head already built for a killer deal so i went with it. I've been reading the Dyno Dynamics usually is pretty low on whp numbers. I know 400whp is pretty safe on stock sleeves, but that could be 400whp on a dynojet. So im gonna take the car with this exact same setup (except new boost controller) and see what it hits on a dynojet, the car will always be tuned on the dyno dynamics tho. Real power teller is 1/4 mile anyways

btw H22 head does not flow as well as an F22 head stock for stock.Thats why Bisimoto uses it. Anyone Correct me if I am wrong.
And it cannot bolt onto a sohc F22 block also, only to an H23 block.

Very nice, sounds like a good number for a conservative pump gas tune up. What turbo are you running?
Probably have some more in it for sure even on pump but if your tuner does not want to push it, probably better to do what he feels comfortable with.
In your lighter 4th gen chassis should run pretty good.

Ya i think im gonna hit a dynojet and see what numbers i get and than go from there, the car is a lot of fun already, and it is my daily driver and i beat on it everyday. So reliability is crucial to me, so ill probably stay at this power level.

have you ran it down the 1/4 mile? i'd be curious what MPH you hit.
on a stock f22a1 , doing the math from a 125 MPH run, i'm making somewhere from 375-400 crank HP...who knows though. .these engines can take it (i'm running the same head with a bisimoto cam/springs)
the sleeves are thick ,and should do fine without any detonation. might wanna put some race gas in for extended beatings though.

Just check with your dyno shop to see if the output of the Dyno Dynamics dyno has been altered or not. Naturally they will sit anywhere from 13-20% lower than what a Dynojet reads. I personally had to adjust mine to read similar(but still lower) than the local dynojets because even grown men who dont see 200whp from their b-series n/a builds would get upset. Its just a number.
NIce work. Id push for 400... Just use some good gas.... Love for the F from a man with an H... ALWAYS will be a special place in my heart for the ol sohc. Tq falls off bad... Id look into where your flow restriction is.
Im curious as to what snail youve got on it... Specifically ex turbine/ wheel size.

also I think with the dyno dynamics that you can put into a mode which will show the correction, temp, etc... that way to have it all on paper when you ran. cause unfortunately unlike some other dyno's the DD can be made to read all over the place. Control X and pop in a correction factor is all it takes to make your numbers change.

I'm usually one to pull for underdogs, however... It may be a built head, but with less than 2k of powerband its not much help.
I'd say you have three options - upgrade the intake manifold (custom if you have to!), upgrade the turbo, or get a DOHC head. At least one of the three is a major issue, since you're spooling so late for a 2.2L, but droping torque off like its going out of style. It could be possible the cam's too big, but usually turbo Honda's don't have problems with a reasonable amount of overlap.

with less boost i've got a lot more powerband than he has. dont have a dyno plot of it, but will shortly
i'd imagine its either the exhaust or intake manifold, or both. . i've got a REALLY good manifolds, and smallish turbo. ,

The cam is pretty close to stock, its a delta 260 re-grind. The intake manifold was extrude honed (like a liquid port and polish, cost the guy i bought it off $500), IABs disabled open all the time. The head I wouldnt mind upgrading, however if i make 400whp on my SOHC and than upgrade to DOHC and make 430+, id have to turn the boost down to save my sleeves? or will it just give me a better powerband.
Dont have the specs at the moment, will get asap!
I do not have the OBX turbo manifold braced, or are you talking about my intake manifold? because i actually dont have that braced either....
