Default Leaking oil through head gasket? HELP

For some reason I seem to be leaking oil onto my block on the number 4 cylinder ONLY.

-The engine was rebuilt, I havn't even gotten a chance to drive it around(one of my ball joints is broken.)

-Seems to be coming from the head gasket(put a new one in from honda).

-Head has new guides and gaskets.

My questions would be then, why do you guys think it is leaking from there? I noticed that, that header starts getting covered in fluid as I leave the engine on. I know that I torqued the head down to spec and in the order that the Honda FSM says to.

Ok first off that is the #1 not #4 , I would take a look and your can seals and gally plugs on that end of the head , if you look realy close at the pic it is shinney behind the plastic timming cover with means the leak is up higherand is running down.

there looks to be a nick where the head meets the block right there, close to the manifold. did you pry the head off there initially? that could be your prob. take the head back off, make sure its flat. if it is, then check back here. if it isnt, take it to a machine shop to be milled 0.005 over. that will get it back to flat without affecting performance/engine health.

^^^ I fixed my problem. It ended up being the exhaust camshaft seal. I replaced it and it stopped leaking.

awesome, glad it was a relatively easy fix. I always replace camshaft seals whenever I change my timing belt.
