I got a 90 4dr the gas gauge stay on E when there is gas i use a light tester on a wire n the gauge move up what is it bad ground?

 

yea most likely a bad ground...
The ground for dash is under the dash of course. lol.
Near the steering column. on the right side of it..
You should see it easily.. Only black wire there..

 

from the dash? i try it under the back seat where the fuel connect 2 i use a light tester on it n how the light tester shoot out neg i just touch all the wire than one of the wire i touch it with it made my gas gauge go up
