I was getting onto the freeway and suddenly a car begins to slow down and then stops imeadiatley. I slam on my brakes, they lock up and I slide into the lexus in front of me. Just so happens the car in front of the Lexus Slammed their brakes because there was someone waiting to cross at the crosswalk, that made the Lexus slam their brakes, to make me slam my brakes and I hit that lexus. My car scooped under the Lexus and the hood is dented in which also pulled the radiator support in to bend itself.
Should I replace the support or just pound it back to its original position?

 

how bent is it... do you have any pics of it?

Need pics...when you replace the core support you have to cut the old one from the car and weld (find a good welder!!) in a new one in place. I know this cause the hatch I bought the same thing happened to it, and the old core support was cut from the car and another one was welded in place but the welds are prone to rust!!! Also if you do that make sure the bumper support gets put back in!!!!!! Cause mine wasn't and it took forever to find a bumper support that wasn't bent to put back on, other wise without a bumper support the next fender bender you might have you might not be here to post the results of it....

 

Previous owner did the same to my coupe. Does your hood still close? cheap fix that looks saucy would be to pick up an OEM hood mask. x] I did it. Covered up my nasty dent and looks good. Body shop wanted 6 bills to swap the radiator support, and 3 bills to bend it back. OR you can do 150 and just cover it x]. Its tough to replace. You need to pull the entire front end clean off, drill spot welds, then get it welded back on STRAIGHT. Not easy. It really is a tough situation. Mine wasn't bent too bad though. well i had this dumb tow truck guy tow my car from my house to the body shop while i was at work so my wife was there to assist him then come to find out he jacked my car from the radiator support and gave it a boner sticking straight up i got a hammer and its good as new but how bad is yours ? we need to see pictures

 

Here are the photos but with bad lighting. If this is not good enough, when I try to pull it back into place i'll take the bumper cover off and everything will be viewable.

well it doesnt look all that bad, you may be able to just pound it down, just be carfull, dont hit it to hard,
just play around with it, if you are able to open and close your hood, your good,
if not replace, but inless your a great welder and have experience doing it
take it to a pro, there is so many things that have to be perfect for the support to be straight. i learned it the hard way, one head light is perfect the other is sticking out a inch....
