Icon3 apexi n1 question!!!

This is probably a big Noob question but seeing that it could cost me like 470$ i wanna know. When I go to look at them online all the descriptions say "the A-pexi N1 mufller". Its not jsut a muffler is it? Is it a cat-back. Also if its just the muffler Ill be looking at the WS2, any opinons on that? Thanks

if the price for the n1 is 470, yeah it should be the cat-back.

the exhaust you choose is up to you. if you want a loud free flowing exhaust then get the n1. if you want a quiet to drive around but roars when you hit it, get the WS. i had the WS and it was nice. N1 is too loud for me.

also, the WS is soooo much cheaper than the n1.

well the reason why it sounded the way it did for you is because you went with a way smaller piping than the N1 muffler usually is meant for and also you used a gross glass pack thats really restricting your exhaust flow due to the glass pack bottle necking design.

to the OP, if you replace the original Resonator on the N1 piping, it'll give it a less louder, subtle tone. like, use a 24" resonator or longer ha.

i think i might go with the WS2. I really like the look of the N1, but I also like how clean and almost OEM looking the WS2 is! Its a little different. But keep posting some pics!

I had the N1 and it scraped on everything. If I had to choose again I would go with the WS2.

Yep. As you can see from the pic, my car isnt that low. The angle of the exhaust is the culprit. To get that JDM slant and keep good flow, they have the canister and it rubs on everything.

The other thing I didnt like is that its to loud for just cruising around. Sure it sounded good at WOT. But not everyday. Im not knocking the N1, its still m favorite exhaust. I think im just getting old. I like more silent power.

i loved the sound of the n1 also..the WS was too quiet. N1 sounds so much better than the WS when vtec kicks..its rediculous. i decided to use the turbo n1 for my k swap.
